Help support our local survivors with a night of glamour and fun!
The Shine Bright Gala will be held at the Silver Reef Casino on October 18, 2025 and proceeds will fund LVOC emergency shelter reconstruction and victims basic needs. This event will include a plated dinner, a silent and live auction to benefit the NE-ALIS-TOKW – Domestic Violence Shelter. We are excited for you to join us.

We need your support to make our auction a success
My name is Olivia Solomon, the Domestic Violence Shelter Manager for Ne-Alis-Tokw (My Sister’s Place) through Lummi Victims of Crime. Since 2004, we have provided safe housing for tribal members and their children affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, trafficking, and abuse.
Initially starting in a double wide trailer, we expanded in 2013 to a larger facility, enabling us to assist around 31 families a year. However, ongoing maintenance and upgrades exceed our budget, and many families need extra support for furniture, household supplies and housing application fees as they transition into their own homes.
We are hosting a silent auction on October 18th, 2025, to raise funds to continue our work. We are seeking unique items for the auction, and your company’s donation would be greatly appreciated, whether in-kind or monetary, as it will be vital for our success.
